1. The service
Lonnie helps adults find ID-verified travel companions, plan trips and meetups, organise activities and logistics, keep a shared-expense record, use an AI concierge and access safety tools. You must be 18 or older. External services have their own terms once you choose to leave Lonnie.
2. Verification and the social pool
Anyone shown in another traveller's matching, group or social graph must pass the required government-ID and selfie check. Unverified users keep free safety and concierge access but do not enter the verified social pool. Verification is not a guarantee of conduct, compatibility, plans or social-media ownership.
3. Safety tools are best-effort aids
SOS alerts the emergency contacts you chose and helps you dial local emergency services. It does not contact police or ambulance on your behalf and depends on device signal, data and location services. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly first.
4. Community conduct
You must not harass, stalk, threaten or harm others; misrepresent your identity, age or trip; exploit anyone under 18; share intimate images without consent; bypass verification or blocks; distribute private links without permission; or use Lonnie for unlawful activity.
We may remove content, restrict or end an account, preserve evidence, and report child-safety violations where required. Reports, blocks and enforcement actions are audited.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Lonnie the limited permission needed to store it, show it to eligible people, deliver it and moderate the service. You must have the right to share that content.
6. Shared expenses are not payments
Lonnie records who paid and what members say is settled. Lonnie does not hold, transfer, escrow, collect or enforce money between travellers and does not guarantee that a receipt, conversion or paid mark is correct. External payment apps handle their own eligibility, fees, transfers, refunds and disputes.
7. Travel and affiliate links
A commercial link is labelled. Lonnie may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. External providers control inventory, pricing, booking, payment, refunds, insurance and fulfilment. A click is not treated as a booking or payment.
8. Subscriptions and fees
Premium and any one-time verification product are billed by the App Store or Google Play at the price and renewal details shown before purchase. Cancel in the store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the store process and rights under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Account deletion
Delete your account from Settings in one flow. The automated purge completes within 24 hours, subject to legal holds and limited audit or consent records. Deleting a Lonnie account does not cancel a store subscription.
10. Availability and liability
Lonnie does not promise uninterrupted matching, partner inventory, AI answers, messaging, GPS, OTP or third-party delivery. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to resupplying the service or the amount paid in the prior 12 months. Nothing excludes Australian Consumer Law rights that cannot be excluded.
11. Disputes and changes
Contact support@getlonnie.com first. These terms are governed by Victorian law and disputes are subject to Victorian courts. Material changes are shown in the app. If you do not accept them, you can stop using Lonnie and delete your account without a cancellation trap.
